Endure Proposal & Quote Builder

Fill this in after estimating a job — the preview on the right shows the actual document pages as you type. Saving sends the job data to Drive; then ask Claude to "generate the proposal/quote for <name>" for the final PDF.

Proposal (Range)
Black/Complex lane — a priced range + design-service upsell, not a fixed number yet.
Quote (Fixed)
Red/Standard lane — standard items, rate-calculated price, accept + deposit.
Manual (Quote)
No calculator — build the quote line by line: item, cost, margin, total. Renders as a fixed-price Quote.

Job setup

The basics — cover page and filing. "Prepared for" mirrors the client name and the date defaults to today; status labels are set automatically by document type (override only if needed).

e.g. Ray Frank
Used to name the job folder — e.g. Deck, Pergola
One line describing the job, shown under the client name on the cover
Auto-mirrors client name — type to override
Auto by mode — type to override
Small tag above the cover title — auto by mode, type to override
Section headlines (optional overrides)

Blank = the standard headline. Type to replace the big title on that page for this job only.

Site & ops notes — for the crew, not the client

None of this shows on the quote. It rides along in the job folder so whoever builds it knows the site.

Priced options

One row per independently-priced option. Enter the inc-GST range only — ex-GST is calculated automatically (÷1.1). Pick "Custom / other" in the material dropdown to type anything not in the list.

Alternative materials

Same-option board swaps shown as a small delta note (not independent pricing). Leave empty if not relevant.

③ Your quote

How the quote reads to the client — fixed costs, then each package with its items and a bold total.

See / edit every line Everything itemised — package contents plus job costs. Change a line's Package to move it. Cost/labour/margin are internal; the client only sees the sell.

Your project page

Heroes come from bundles: build line items in the calc, tick + name + "Send to project page". Each hero's price and includes-list flow from its lines. "In costings" decides which bundle the breakdown, totals and budget follow — alternatives stay visible with their own price but out of the maths.

For manual quotes — a project card with no calculator behind it

Site sketch

Draw the deck, mark dimensions, trace over a site photo. Works with a finger on a phone or tablet. The sketch saves into the job's Drive folder automatically — it never appears in the client document.

HandyPay finance page

What to do here: normally nothing. The weekly figures are estimated automatically from the job's price using the interest rate below — check the rate matches HandyPay's current rate (from the HandyPay partner portal) and adjust if needed. All figures are marked "indicative" on the page; HandyPay quotes the client directly. Type over any figure to override it.

Project run & payment schedule

Standard 7 steps and payment schedule, pre-filled — only change if this job genuinely differs. Payment schedule must total 100%.

Internal costing — Endure eyes only

Paste the link to the estimating sheet these numbers came from — when generating, Claude opens it and reconciles the proposal against it.

In-chat build. Generate PDF exports the job file — attach it in chat and Claude renders the real branded PDF. Save to Drive files the job (or exports both JSONs if the Drive bridge isn’t connected).
